We had an assembly to learn more about children in many countries who are not able to attend school. Our Primary 7 pupils taught the rest of the school what they had learned about reasons children can’t attend school. In our assembly we thought of lots of ways we could help these children. Pupils decided they would like to create Send My Friend backpacks, meet with our MP and our MSP and tweet about our learning to share with our wider community. We really enjoyed taking part and feel much more aware of how we can speak out for children around the world who aren’t having their right to education met.
