All year 4 pupils and myself took part in the campaign. The children learnt about the types of emergencies children go through. We looked at how the children would feel and used emojis to express that emotion. We linked the campaign to the topic ‘ways education can help make a society more respectful’. In total we made 61 rucksacks with powerful messages on the front. Our local MP Amanda Solloway came into school and collected the rucksacks to take to parliament. She was very impressed with the children’s work.
