Year 4 children watched the Send My Friend to School DVD and this inspired them to speak out for children across the world who are missing out on education. They made paper rucksacks and wrote their own messages to world leaders. They thought about what they’d want to send their friend to school with, e.g love, friends, clean clothes, a football etc and wrote it on the inside of the rucksack. We have written a letter to our MP asking them to take action and have posted off the paper rucksacks with a photo of the children holding them. Thank you for a great campaign! The children have thoroughly enjoyed taking part.
