As the UK gears up for a general election in December, Send My Friend to School would like to thank Stephen Twigg, outgoing MP for Liverpool West Derby, Chair of the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Global Education and Chair of the International Development Committee, for his continued support for our campaign. Through these roles and as a key ally of our campaign, Stephen has pushed the UK government to work towards quality and inclusive education for all children by 2030.

Thank you to Stephen Twigg for working with us to ensure that more children and young people than ever are receiving a quality education around the world. This year, the UK government committed £90 million to Education Cannot Wait, a fund dedicated to providing education for young people caught up in emergencies. We look forward to continuing to work with the All-Party Parliamentary Group for Global Education and celebrating more successes in global education together.
Send My Friend to School brings together thousands of children across the UK to speak up for the right to education.
