We travelled to 10 Downing Street to carry out a petition to send all children to school around the world. When we arrived in London we met our MP Mr David Jones. He had invited us down after attending an assembly in school about ‘Send my Friend to School’ and seeing the work we have done.
In school we have learnt about different children who don’t go to school because of natural disasters, disease or because of conflict in their country. All the children in our school (461) have created backpacks with messages on for our friends not in school. We have added what they will need at school and it has made us think what we would miss at school and how lucky we are! This is what we delivered to 10 Downing Street.
We hope the World leaders see that more and more children want to help all children to go to school because every child has a right to education! Our hope is that the world leaders keep the promises they have made that all children to go to school!
