Having learnt about Send ALL My Friends to School during class assembly, Charlotte Curtis, Bethany Beattie and Isobel Myers, Year 7 pupils from Lockyer’s Middle School, decided to engage their peers in helping to make their voices heard.

They eagerly led whole school assemblies both at Lockyer’s Middle School and Henbury View First School informing pupils of the campaign. Following this, every pupil from these schools coloured in a buddy and wrote a message for educational change to occur.

MP, Annette Brooke, and Councillor, Susan Jefferies, met with the pupils and collected a vast bundle of completed buddies. They delivered them by hand to David Cameron at 10 Downing Street.
