A sneak peek at what’s coming – behind the scenes on this year’s Send My Friend to School campaign film.

2014 campaign film Young campaigners from The Village School and Kingsbury High School will be appearing in our 'Send ALL My Friends to School' film. Thanks to everyone who got involved!
Creating buddies Students learned that one in three children who miss out on school have a disability. They then created colourful decorated buddies each representing a child out of school.
Sending a message Buddies were decorated with messages about the need to give every child an education.
Completed buddies Once paper buddies were decorated they were ready to be added to a buddy chain - we're challenging schools taking part in 'Send ALL My Friends to School' to create the longest ever chains this year!
Lights, camera, action! Students were filmed talking about the buddies they had created and why they feel passionately about education for all.
Join the chain A panning camera shot captures the buddy chain created by students from Kingsbury High School and The Village School.
Time for a close up The colourful decorations and slogans on these buddies will send a powerful message to our MPs and the UK government: leaders must do everything in their power to keep the promise made by world leaders and give every child an education.

Our 2014 campaign: Send ALL My Friends to School is now coming together with a film that will tell everyone about the issues and what each of us can do to help change things…

This year our campaign focuses on children with disabilities who make up one third of the children who miss out on school.

Thanks very much to our film makers, plus Ade Adepitan and the pupils and teachers at Southern Road Primary, The Village School and Kingsbury High School who all feature in the film.

We’ll be able to unveil the completed film on our website soon. For now you can sign up to get your free schools pack and to take part in the summer term.
