1,000 pupils at Swanlea school participated in this year’s Send My Friend to School campaign, raising awareness about education for all.
At Swanlea School we took part in various activities. We designed posters of our ideal teachers, and led assemblies and workshops about the importance of education for all. We told the story of Malala to the rest of our school.
We attended Pupil Parliament where we met our MP, Rushanara Ali, and spoke to her about the importance of education for all children regardless of gender or where they live.
