Quarryhill Primary School

Students at Quarryhill Primary School learned about children’s rights, and took part in active challenges to explore how it would feel if we didn’t have any rights.

Pupils created their own puppet teacher and made one large teacher by drawing around their class teacher. This was mailed along with letters and photographs to their local MP.

The local MP, Frank Doran, visited the school to discuss the shortage of teachers around the world and the children not in education.
