240 pupils at Oakwood Junior School took part in activities as part of the Send My Friend to School campaign.
The school’s World Links Committee promoted the project in an assembly. All children at the school then made ideal teachers, which were sent to local MP, Alan Whitehead.
Send My Friend to School brings together thousands of children across the UK to speak up for the right to education.
