On Friday 21st June, a group of students from Mowbray School, Stokesley School and Wensleydale School handed over a petition to William Hague about Education for All at his constituency surgery in North Yorkshire.
The students explained why the campaign was important to them: they feel that without an education, children are deprived of opportunities later in life, and that they wanted everyone to have the same opportunities that we have of education here in the UK. They asked the Foreign Secretary to please give the 57 million children worldwide currently missing out on a basic education the chance to grow up with the same opportunities in education that we have.
