David Simpson, MP for Upper Bann, met pupils at Banbridge High School to hear about Send My Friend to School.

Year 8 pupils from Banbridge High School, County Down invited their MP to school on 25th June 2012. They had prepared a ‘Go for Gold’ presentation and asked Mr Simpson for his continued support in their ‘Send My Friend to School’ campaign.

The pupils have taken part in the campaign each year since 2005, and Mr Simpson has helped them since 2006. This year Mr Simpson promised that he would table an Early Day Commons Motion about the need for global education.
