Little Hallingbury Primary

School Assembly, with children holding up paper 'sister' figures.
Every child in the school made a ‘sister’ character to join in a paper chain.

On Friday 20th May Little Hallingbury Primary school had a special assembly for ‘send my sister to school’. Every child in the school (150 of them) made a little character to join in a long paper chain. The children wrote their thoughts about the importance of education and their prayers for children around the world.

Every class watched some of the video clips about the children and were very moved and inspired by the children’s stories. The school council closed the assembly with some special thoughts to help us remember how lucky we are in the U.K.
