A new film about our Young Ambassadors’ amazing fact-finding trip to Ghana, where 444,000 children are missing out on school, is now available to download.
Emily Pemberton and George Watts, from Ysgol Gyfun Plasmawr in Cardiff, met children in the Upper East region who are missing out on school. They also visited a local primary school, where over 100 children are in each class, with only five trained teachers in the whole school.
Since their return, Emily and George have spoken to the NUT conference about their experiences, and are spreading the word in the UK media, to try to get as many schools as possible to join the Send My Friend to School campaign this summer.
Watch and download the film here to teach your students about barriers to education, or read the diary about their trip click here.
