At Hillbrook Primary School, every child – from nursery up to year 6, and from the early years resource base – decorated a buddy for Send ALL My Friends to School.

480 children took part, and also wrote messages to their MP on the buddies about why every child should be able to go to school. We had whole school assemblies where the children watched the videos and classes carried out activities using the resources from the website.
We then joined all our buddy chains together and strung them up at our school’s summer fair for parents to see. The children really enjoyed looking at the buddies and discussing the wider issue.
