Pupils at Charlton Kings Junior School in Cheltenham impressed MP Martin Horwood with their artwork and messages.
“The Global Campaign for Education is striving to address this and Charlton Kings Junior School is trying to play its part,” said Head Teacher Lee Pajak. “We were delighted that our MP, Martin Horwood, came along to receive the dozens of medals the pupils had made, each containing a message for the Prime Minister, encouraging him to get behind the cause.”
Mr Horwood, MP for Cheltenham, said the children had given an excellent presentation and was impressed by the quality of their writing. It was in issue close to his heart and he would personally make sure that all their medals would be delivered to Mr Cameron.
